About Jobs was founded by Don Goodman, a Certified Career Management Coach and Expert Resume Writer who assisted thousands of people with their career search during his 15+ years as company President.

Don was a Featured Keynote Speaker at dozens of Job Fairs, Executive Conferences, and State Agency events, and he worked with the Career Placement Services of Johns Hopkins University, Clark University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

As the President of About Jobs, Don was interviewed numerous times on radio and television regarding employment issues, and he was quoted in hundreds of articles throughout the United States, including the Philadelphia Inquirer, NY Times, Washington Post, Star Ledger, Computerworld, InfoWorld, PC Age, Los Angeles Times, Houston Chronicle, Washington Times, The Woman Today, New Jersey Monthly, and the Wall Street Journal’s National Business Employment Weekly.

To drive his company’s success, Don interviewed hundreds of hiring executives to identify hiring trends and determine the most important qualities that hiring firms look for in a candidate. He also partnered with Hewitt Associates, a global consulting and outsourcing firm specializing in human resource solutions, to discuss Strategic Staffing with Fortune 500 companies.

Don was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business as well as Stanford University’s Executive Program.  Before founding About Jobs he had also served as Chief Marketing Officer for a variety of high-tech firms. Don’s breadth of experience shaped the operations of About Jobs and led to the delivery of high quality services, resulting in a 95% client satisfaction rate that has now become the service standard for all About Jobs packages.

Maryann is an accomplished Certified Professional Resume Writer with 20+ years of experience assisting clients in achieving their career goals. Maryann’s professional experience involves a consistent track record of success as an IT Recruiter responsible for sourcing and placing qualified candidates at Fortune 500 businesses across several states.

In 1989, she was recruited by former manager to grow newly launched The Allegiance Group, an IT Consulting Company servicing clients in the New York tri-state area. She held a pivotal role in transitioning company from a start-up to a $23+ million organization within 10 years. Throughout her career she created the Recruiting Department, established the On-line Recruiting Team, and drove the build out of a LAN / WAN infrastructure supporting 30 employees on 4 locations.

Even though she held a Vice President role at The Allegiance Group, Ms. Riggs was still sought after by the recruiting and sales teams to develop winning resumes for submission to clients. She was recognized for her ability to effectively capture key responsibilities and achievements from clients, and successfully market applicants for critical technology consulting roles.
